ALL Huntsville ISD Parents are invited to attend a Digital Parents Conference called "ConnectEd - Media Moms & Digital Dads" on Saturday, October 14 from 8:30 am to 12 pm at Mance Park Middle School. We will share helpful information with parents about school technology, student online activity, and cyber-safety for school and home use.

Huntsville ISD has received approval from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) to offer FREE lunch to ALL students during the month of September regardless of free & reduced meal program eligibility.
The 1st Day of School for 2017-2018 will be Wednesday, August 16. Parents should use the Home Access Center (HAC) Parent Portal to re-register All RETURNING HISD STUDENTS. Parents must have a valid email address on file with the district for each returning student in order to use HAC for re-registration. We welcome New Student Registration daily via paper enrollment packets during operating hours. The district also invites you to a New Student Registration Centralized 2-Day Event to be held on August 1st & 5th. **Bus Registration is a separate process.** For details and links read on.
If your child will need to ride the bus to or from school this year you must sign them up with HISD Transportation before they will be allowed to ride. This is an annual requirement. Bus registration for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL will CLOSE on Friday, August 11 to prepare bus routes. Any registration received after this deadline will have to wait until Monday, August 21 to ride. Registration can be done online using the Bus Registration form on the Transportation website or in person at the HISD Transportation Department at 95 MLK Dr.
