Major Calendar Changes:

HISD will be attending FULL DAYS on April 1, May 5, and May 21

Students will be required to attend all day on these dates--No early release or staff development!  According to TEA policy, this is required in order to make up for the 2 days in the fall that the district closed due to H1N1 and excessive absences.  Again, these will be full attendance days for students.  Thank you for your understanding and for making the necessary calendar adjustments.

Huntsville ISD will be closed March 15 - 19, 2010.

March's Board of Trustees Meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, March 22, 2010 @ 6:30 pm in the Hawkins Administration Boardroom.  Thank you~

Census

HISD encourages everyone to please participate in the upcoming 2010 US Census.  You will be receiving your Census forms in the mail any day now, and everyone should fill out the form and return it by the April 1st deadline.  When you receive yours, just answer the 10 short questions and then mail the form back in the postage-paid envelope provided. If you don't mail the form back, you may receive a visit from a census taker, who will ask you the questions from the form.   Read more: ...
