The 1st Day of School for 2017-2018 will be Wednesday, August 16. Parents should use the Home Access Center (HAC) Parent Portal to re-register All RETURNING HISD STUDENTS. Parents must have a valid email address on file with the district for each returning student in order to use HAC for re-registration. We welcome New Student Registration daily via paper enrollment packets during operating hours. The district also invites you to a New Student Registration Centralized 2-Day Event to be held on August 1st & 5th. **Bus Registration is a separate process.** For details and links read on.
Will your student need to ride the bus to or from school this year? If so, parents must register them to ride before they will be allowed to do so. Bus Registration is an annual requirement for any student needing transportation services and can be done online or in person.

Parents & Guardians are able to access STAAR Scores Online. In order to access your student’s STAAR scores, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has created an online student portal for parents.
