ALL STUDENTS MUST REGISTER by July 27, 2025 to Ride the bus on the First Day of School!*

Attention ALL Huntsville Hornet Families!! 

NEW/IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION CHANGES FOR 2025-2026 SY -

• ALL Students - NEW & RETURNING - MUST Register to Ride the School Bus

• Transportation Registration is located in the Skyward Family Access Center Parent Portal (look for the TILE for the 2025-2026 SY). If you do not have an account, please log in and create one.

• Register to ride by July 27, 2025 to ride on the First Day of School

*All student bus registrations received after July 27, 2025, will be processed after the first week of school.  The parent/guardian will receive a phone call when the student is eligible to ride.

Only students who are approved to ride will be allowed afternoon bus transportation.  All other students will be prohibited from using afternoon transportation services until their registration to ride is approved by HISD Transportation and parents are called with route details. 

**All bus routes and schedules are subject to change each school year and all throughout the school year as needed based on ridership.**

CURRENT YEAR - 2024-2025 Transportation Registration Information as of April 30, 2025 -

ALL STUDENTS MUST REGISTER prior to riding.

Bus Registration for this current 2024-2025 school year will EXPIRE on Friday, May 2, 2025. We will not accept any new bus registrations or route changes for CURRENT students after this deadline. The ONLY registrations accepted after the deadline will be for BRAND NEW students to the district. So if your child is a current student needing to ride or a current rider needing to make changes. you need to take care of this important matter as soon as possible and before Friday, May 2, 2025. ALLBRAND NEW students needing transportation after the school year begins will submit the required bus registration request at the campus with their enrollment paperwork. 

Please contact the child's campus Registrar/PEIMS Specialist for Transportation Registration or to request changes during the school year.  New requests and transportation changes typically take up to 72 hours to process and be approved, so please plan accordingly.
