History took flight in Huntsville on Feb. 15.
Senior Molly O’banion, a Huntsville Hornet and member of Scouting America Troop 1934G, officially became the first female Scout in Huntsville history to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.
For O’banion, when the ink hit the paper it marked the end of a fun and fantastic four-year journey.
“It felt amazing to accomplish something that I have worked so hard on for years,” O’banion said. “Especially to be the first one to do it.”
