From late last summer to now, the Hornet Band has grown to exceptional heights.
This is especially true for the concert and jazz band students. They’ve put in tons of work, and probably shed tears during tough times. Still, they always push themselves and their peers to have stellar performances and attitudes.
“We’ve had a number of kids who were able to make the all-region concert band, and a lot of them advanced to area,” Hornet Band director John Green said. “We even had a student make all-region orchestra. They advanced to area, and we’ve had a couple students make all-region jazz band. They all advanced to area as well.”
