HISD is once again sponsoring the seamless summer meal program for Summer 2026!
Meal service will begin on Monday, June 1, 2026.
Meals are offered FREE to ALL Huntsville area children and teens up to age 18 as well as enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21. Eligibility is NOT dependent on enrollment status but the children must be present to participate. Meals will be available at 3 campus sites: HES, MPMS & HHS (aligned with summer school) as well as Grab & Go meals via the HISD Green Hornet Food Bus at 9 designated bus stops Monday-Thursday (closed on Fridays):

Green Hornet meals will include LUNCH plus BREAKFAST for the next day.
