Centralized On-Site LATE Student Registration - July 27 & July 31
CENTRALIZED NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION:
Huntsville ISD will host a final round of Centralized New Student Registration opportunities. These late student registration events will be:
Tuesday, July 27 from 10 AM to 7 PM and
Saturday, July 31 from 8 AM to 12 PM*
These events are open to any parent/guardian of any NEW student enrolling in any gradein HISD this fall. Registration will take place in the Library of Huntsville High School, 515 FM 2821 East. Please follow the directional signs to enter from the East side of campus through the Band Hall entrance.
Beginning August 2, 2021, all New Student registration will be handled at the child’s assigned campus.
All new student registration utilizes paper registration forms, only. These forms can be found on the district website and should be downloaded and filled out prior to registration. Parents/guardians should then bring all completed forms and other required documents needed for enrollment to the registration event of choice.
- Where social distancing is not possible, we recommend wearing a face mask if you have not been fully vaccinated.
- Only 1 parent/guardian per family should attend.
- Students/other children should not attend as they will not be allowed in the building.
RETURNING STUDENT ONLINE REGISTRATION:
Online Registration for Returning HISD Students will be open in the Home Access Center (HAC) parent portal 24 hours a day through the end of this week. The HAC Online Registration will CLOSE at the end of the day on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Parents/Guardians who have not completed the online registration process yet are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Any parent/guardian who needs assistance with the HAC online registration process is invited to complete the paper student registration forms instead and bring them with all of the required documentation to one of the two scheduled Centralized New Student Late Registration events below.
Beginning August 2, 2021, Online Registration for Returning Students will no longer be available and registration will have to be completed at the child's assigned campus.
BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVEAWAY:
*The New Student Registration event on Saturday, July 31 is being held in conjunction with the Community Praise Ministry’s annual Back to School Supply Giveaway event that is scheduled for 10 AM to 12 PM that same day in the Huntsville High School back parking lot/gym areas. Huntsville area families are invited to come to this fun and festive event to receive a free bag of grade appropriate school supplies for each school-aged child to help them get ready for the school year. Children must be present to receive supplies. Each bag of supplies is a starter bag and may not include all of the items listed on the supply list.
