In an effort to promote the safety and security of Huntsville ISD students, staff, families and visitors, the district is implementing additional procedures for the supervision of younger students attending our football games. These procedures exist to help keep the public safe and to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable experience at the stadium. The following procedures will be enforced for all remaining Hornet Football home games:
No student under 7th grade will be admitted to the stadium without a parent or guardian. These younger students must remain with their parent or guardian at all times. If needed, reserved and season ticket holders with chairback seats will need to properly supervise their younger children by keeping them seated within direct line of sight.
The student section of the stadium is for Mance Park Middle School and Huntsville High School students ONLY. No students below 7th grade will be allowed to sit in this designated area, even if they are with an older sibling.
There will be increased administrative supervision in the student section and on the concourse around the concession stand and restroom areas. Students found loitering on the concourse, running, horseplaying, cutting in line, etc. will be given one warning/correction before being required to leave the stadium for the remainder of the game and season.
In the event that a student(s) of any age is required to leave, the student's name will be placed on a list to ensure they are NOT allowed to attend home football games for the remainder of the season. Parents/Guardians will be notified by their student’s home campus administration.
Huntsville ISD works hard to create an atmosphere conducive to Building Champions at all activities and events. Patrons and spectators at our athletic events deserve a quality experience. We truly appreciate your cooperation in helping us make your Hornet Football game experience the best it can be.
Thank You & Sting'Em!
