  • The FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for the 2022-2023 School Year will be Thursday, August 11, 2022.  

    Families should monitor the HISD website and social media over the summer months for the most up-to-date information.

    First Day of School for Students - Thursday, August 11, 2022
    Early Release for Winter Break - Friday, December 16, 2022
    First Day of Second Semester for Students - Thursday, January 5, 2023
    Early Release for Last Day of School - Thursday, May 25, 2023
