All student registrations received after July 31, 2022, will be processed after the first week of school. The parent/guardian will receive a phone call when your student is eligible to ride.
Was your child a registered bus rider on the last day of the 2021-2022 school year? If so, you do not need to re-register them again for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. The only exception would be if there is an address/route change needed. If there are no changes, your child is ready to ride!
NEW BUS RIDERS:
If you are a NEW Student to HISD or a returning student with an address/route change needed, please come see us at one of the scheduled Centralized Late Student Registration events scheduled for either Thursday, July 28 or Saturday, July 30 at Huntsville High School. All registration event details can be found on the
Student Registration.
NOTE: All bus routes and schedules are subject to change each school year and throughout the school year as needed based on ridership.
Only students who are approved to ride will be allowed afternoon bus transportation. All other students will be prohibited from using afternoon transportation services until their registration to ride is approved by HISD Transportation and parents are called with route details.
All NEW HISD students needing transportation after the school year begins will submit the required bus registration request at the campus with their enrollment paperwork.
Please contact the child's campus Registrar/PEIMS Specialist for Transportation Registration or to request changes during the school year. New requests and transportation changes typically take up to 72 hours to process and be approved, so please plan accordingly.
