We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2020! If you plan on attending the ceremony, please review all the information on this page.
Note: Due to social distancing guidelines, this event will be ticketed and all attendees must have a ticket to enter the stadium. All tickets are limited and assigned to Seniors for their family and guests. Ticket packets will be distributed to Senior families at the HHS main entrance on July 21-23 ONLY from 8 am to 4 pm. There will be NO tickets distributed on Friday, July 24 or Saturday, July 25.
Last Minute Reminders
- Self-screen before coming to the stadium.
- Don't forget your tickets.
- It can be hot outside, especially on the home side (green, blue & red sections) in the morning.
- Consider dressing in light-colored, lightweight and loose fitting clothing.
- There is no need to be seated early because seats are assigned.
- Continue to hydrate prior to the ceremony and bring a sealed water bottle with you to stay hydrated.
- Please drive safe.
- Bring a towel/blanket to wipe off seat as rain is in the forecast.
Inclement Weather Updates
We are aware of the tropical storm and inclement weather forecast for Friday and Saturday. Administration will continue to monitor the weather radar until the time of Saturday's event. We will post any necessary updates for Senior families on the Huntsville High School official Facebook page (see newsfeed to the left). Our ultimate desire is to proceed with the commencement ceremony as planned, so long as it is considered SAFE to do so. If just prior to or during the event the weather becomes too severe or it is lightning making conditions unsafe, we will be forced to cancel. A final decision may not be able to be made until nearer the event time.
If the weather radar shows rain to be fast moving, a decision could be made to delay shortly (return to/stay in vehicles) in hopes it will pass quickly allowing us to resume. A total cancellation will only be made as a last resort. If we must cancel, we will not reschedule. We will instead proceed with a virtual program presentation. Due to weather, towels & personal size umbrellas will be allowed in the stadium.
← Please monitor the HHS Facebook page where we will post any necessary updates due to inclement weather inside the Graduation Event.

Parking & Seating Map - Color Coded
Graduates will receive four (4) color-coded tickets for family and/or guests. These color-coded tickets correlate to a parking lot, entry gate, and seating area. Graduates will be seated on the field, and, in most cases, their seat will be in or near the section where their family group is located. Carpooling is recommended. Due to the extreme July heat, we recommend waiting in your vehicle for as long as you can before making entry into the stadium. Your ticket secures your seat so don't worry about not being able to find a place to sit.
Health Screening Information
Prior to entering Conroe ISD's Woodforest Bank Stadium facility, ALL individuals (graduates and guests) must be free of each item listed below and and able to answer "no" to the following:
- Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit
- Loss of taste or smell
- Difficulty breathing
- Shortness of breath
- Sore throat
- Shaking or exaggerated shivering
- Significant muscle pain or ache
- Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19, if exposure to the active confirmed case occurred within the last 14 days
**We also ask that individuals with a compromised immune system or those in a high-risk category watch the ceremony via the live stream.
For the health and safety of others, please review the screening information prior to attending this event and know that stadium staff will ask you upon entry. We ask that all family groups maintain a distance of 6 feet from other groups. Those found with any of these signs or symptoms are unable to enter. All individuals entering are encouraged to practice appropriate physical distancing and hand hygiene. We encourage and request all visitors to the HHS graduation ceremony to wear a mask or face covering to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. The District wants to honor graduates and their families while doing everything we can to help keep them and our staff safe. Wearing a mask or face covering and maintaining social distancing are important parts of the Governor’s Open Texas Plan. We understand that this is an outdoor ceremony and wearing a mask throughout the ceremony may become uncomfortable. While there is no penalty for removing one’s mask, it is important to not cough or sneeze on those around you. At a minimum, masks should be worn when walking to and from your seats and in the concourse, common, and restroom areas.
