Ms. Hana Eason
Hello! My name is Hana Eason, and I teach 6th grade Art!
I was born in San Francisco, CA, but moved to Texas early on in my life and eventually attended Randall High School in Amarillo, TX. For college, I moved to Lubbock where I acquired a degree in Political Science at Texas Tech University and my masters in Education at Wayland Baptist University. While in Lubbock, I also taught 8th grade U.S. History and 6th grade World Cultures during my student-teaching experience.
This is my first year in Huntsville and first year teaching, and I'm so excited to share the subject about which I'm so passionate.
Some extra info about me:
- My favorite art mediums are sketching, illustrating digitally, watercolor, and sculpting clay. I also bookbind to make my own sketchbooks.
- I played the clarinet from middle school to high school.
- I have two rescue cats, Cas and Gochu.
- I love astonomy and oceanography. My heart is with unexplored places.
- Science fiction is my favorite genre.
