Mr. Krystyniak is proudly joining Huntsville High School with over twenty years of teaching experience. Mr. Krystyniak has taught high school choir in the Willis, Conroe, Tomball and Cypress-Fairbanks school districts. Choirs under Mr. Krystyniak's direction have excelled in UIL and Festival performances.
In addition to consistent success at UIL, Mr, Krystyniak's 2006 Tomball Chorale Women were an invited Honor Choir at the annual TMEA convention, and the 2011 Tomball choirs were honored to be included in the Disney World Candlelight Processional concert. Mr. Krystyniak has toured high school choirs in New York City, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C. From 2014-2016, Mr. Krystyniak was the director of the Villanova Singers, the men's choir of Villanova University.
Mr. Krystyniak is a graduate of Huntsville High School, undergraduate of Sam Houston State University, and a master's graduate of Rowan University. Mr. Krystyniak has studied with Dr. Christopher Thomas, Dr. Bev Henson and Dr. Allen Hightower. In 2015, Mr. Krystyniak was awarded a conducting fellowship with the Varna International Music Academy and conducted Haydn's Creation in Varna, Bulgaria.
Mr. Krystyniak is very happy to come back to his alma mater and be a part of a long and rich choral tradition.
