While school is closed, I encourage my students to login and complete 10 minutes a day on Lexia-Core 5 or Power Up. I will include an information sheet although all students are familiar with this process since we do it daily.
Next, I will include a sheet with common prefixes, suffixes and vowel sounds. Students could create flashcards and study these things.
Also, I strongly encourage students to choose some sort of reading material to read minimum 10 minutes per day. Students could keep a reading log. On this log, students could write summaries, define unknown words, describe a conflict, locate words with common prefixes and suffixes or write about any aspect of the reading material.
My conference is 8-8:45 Monday-Friday.
