Mrs. Amanda Ermis
Just a little about me.......
I grew up in Houston, but my family roots are in the Madisonville/Centerville area. I graduated from Aldine High School in 1984 and from Sam Houston State University in 1989 with a B.S. in Horticulture and Crop Science. My Biology certification came along shortly thereafter.
I have a beautiful blended family! Mr. Ermis (AP US History) and I have been married for just over 2 years! I have two daughters and was lucky enough to gain an amazing bonus son and daughter (complete with GRANDKIDS!!!!) I LOVE MY WHOLE FAMILY!!!!!
This is my 22nd year as a teacher! I have taught 21 of those years right here in Huntsville. I started out at the old Huntsville Jr. High and moved to Mance Park, where I taught Science for about 10 years and then had the opportunity to switch over to Ag. This is my 5th year as an Ag teacher and FFA Advisor at Huntsville High School where I teach a wide variety of Agrucultural Scence electives. I am still growing as a professional and I am always excited to share the things that I learn with my students.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
