WELCOME TO 4TH GRADE!
Every student matters! Every moment counts!
Hi, my name is Krystal Moen and I am a 4th grade Math/Science Teacher. This will be my third year at Scott Johnson Elementary and my fourth year teaching in Huntsville ISD. I am currently wrapping up my Masters degree at Lamar State University in Educational Leadership. I obtained my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University in 2015. GO BEARKATS!! I met my husband through our campus ministry at SHSU and he is proudly serving the University as a Marketing Coordinator/Graphic Designer. We will be expecting our first child this year and we are so grateful! I am excited to have the opportunity to teach your child and make it the best year yet!
Why do I teach you ask?
My favorite place is a classroom.
Regardless of a child’s circumstance, a classroom is the place children unite toward a single goal. Learning.
Make a difference in the life of a student and you have made an impact on the world.
I enjoy supporting the needs of a child, encouraging them when they are struggling and celebrating their success.
Investing in a child’s future starts in the classroom. This is why I teach.
