WELCOME TO 4TH GRADE!
Every student matters! Every moment counts!
Hello, my name is Krystal Moen and I teach 4th grade Math and Science. This will be my fourth year at Scott Johnson Elementary and my fifth year teaching in Huntsville ISD. I obtained my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University in 2015. I recently received my Masters degree in Educational Leadership at Lamar University in 2018. I plan to use my degree to lead others in my district as a future administrator.
I have an 8 month YOUNG daughter and Ive been married for 4 years going on 5! My husband and I met in our college campus ministry. We enjoy spending time with our community, making memories with close relatives and spending every day purposefully.
Why do I teach you ask?
Regardless of a child’s circumstance, a classroom is the place children unite toward a single goal. Learning.
Make a difference in the life of a student and you have made an impact on the world.
I enjoy supporting the needs of a child, encouraging them when they are struggling and celebrating their success.
Investing in a child’s future starts in the classroom.
