Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Machinsky

My name is Kimberly Machinsky.  I was born and raised here in Huntsville and went to Scott Johnson Elementary as a student.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2006 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in May 2010 in Early Childhood Education and Instructional Technology.  This is my 15th year teaching and 14th year in Huntsville ISD.  I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful 3 year-old daughter named Kinslee.

Our classroom will be an environment in which all students feel comfortable and safe.  I am a very positive individual and will hope to instill this same positive attitude with your child as well as other important traits such as responsibility, respect, and choices.  All students will be expected to work hard and make good choices towards their behavior.  We can (and will) learn a whole lot if all students maintain positive attitudes and respect one another.  Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns you may have.
