Hello! My name is Ashleigh Cox and I am so excited to share this school year with you and your children! This will be my 9th year teaching. I am a graduate of Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach early childhood through 6th grade in the general education classroom, English as a Second Language, P.E. and Art. I have taught PreK, Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade in the general education classroom. I love working with kids! I have been working in child care since about 2003, and babysitting kids since I was a kid. I have a great passion for this job that I love so much! I want to create a passion for art within our students so they can find a creative outlet. I hope for a great year with our kiddos!
