About Me

This is my sixth year at Samuel Walker Houston Elementary. I am elated to be part of your child's journey!

Academically, I have two degrees from Sam Houston State University. I earned a Bachelor's of Science in 1999 and Master's of Arts in 2007. My teacher certifications include: Early Childhood-6th grade, English as a Second Language, and Special Education Early Childhood-12th grade.

In 1998, I married my college sweetheart, Jacob. We have two amazing girls, Hailey (12th grade, HHS) and Faith (7th grade, MPMS).

Go Home Folder

Be sure to check your student's folder daily.  In the folder you will find important dates, notes from the teacher, homework, readers, and any checked work.  I'm excited to work with my students and their families. It's going to be a great year!
