All Bus Registrations for the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL must be received by HISD Transportation on or before Friday, August 11, 2017.
Any Bus Registration received after the August 11 deadline will have to wait to ride until Monday, August 21, 2017.
Please do NOT wait until your scheduled campus Meet & Greet to sign your child up to ride the bus. It is past the deadline and your child will not be allowed to ride the first day of school.
Bus registration is required every school year for ALL students who need transportation services and must be completed before being allowed to ride. Bus registration is a separate process from the Back to School online student registration process for school. We do NOT us Home Access Center for bus registration. You must come to our department here at 95 Martin Luther King Drive during operating hours to sign up, or you may fill out and submit the online Bus Registration form found on the menu to the right of this page.
All students who are approved to ride the bus on the First Day of School will receive a phone call from Transportation on Monday, August 14 or Tuesday, August 15 to provide you with your child's most up to day bus information including their bus number, stop location, and times.

After August 21, 2017, and throughout the regular school year, students who are signed up to ride the bus must wait 48 hours before being allowed to ride.
