Returning Student Registration for upcoming 2020-2021 School Year

  • AUGUST 18, 2020 UPDATE: 

    The ONLINE Registration Form in the Home Access Center is CLOSED.
    All registration after August 18, 2020, will be handled by the campus.  Please download and print the paper enrollment packet found on the New Student Registration page or pick up a copy at our studen'ts campus.  Please contact the child's campus directly to schedule an appointment time to come to campus to take care of your registration needs.    


     

    AUGUST 11, 2020 UPDATE: 

    Returning students who do NOT have a completed registration form with model choice submitted by the end of the day Friday, August 14, 2020, will automatically be placed in Model A to start school in person.  This deadline with default model is necessary for campuses to finalize student schedules and make final preparations for the first day of school.


     

    JULY 16, 2020 UPDATE: 

    RETURNING STUDENT REGISTRATION WILL USE THE HOME ACCESS CENTER (HAC) TO ACCESS THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM FOR 2020-2021.

    Online Student Registration is now OPEN via Home Access Center (HAC).  

    Parents of HISD Returning Students will use their Home Access Center (HAC) Parent Portal to access the student's 2020-2021 Registration form(s).  An email notification from OnlineRegistration@huntsville-isd.org was sent to the parent email address on file to alert you that the process is open and available for your student(s) along with the instructions.  Parents should receive a separate email alert for each Returning HISD Student.  However, each of the students should also be accessable from within the parent HAC account.   

    *If all children are not visible in the parent HAC acccount, that could indicate there is an email issue or a linking problem that will have to be resolved by PEIMS personnel.

    Please search your inbox & spam/junk folder for an email from OnlineRegistration@huntsville-isd.org. If not found, then we do not have a current parent email address on file for you.
     
    If you need help with Registration and/or HAC we do have some support available this summer. Please send an email to OnlineRegistration@huntsville-isd.org to include your name, student's name and date of birth and explain the issue you are having.  Someone will make contact with you as soon as they are able to.  If you need to visit with someone about the process, contact your child's campus for assistance during operating hours.  Campus contact information can be found on the HAC page.

Documentation Needed for Returning Student Registration

  • Please have all of your registration information and required documents needed gathered and with you before starting the registration form.

    • Immunization Records for Incoming 7th Graders - The State requires children entering 7th grade to have additional shots for entry into school.  Please be sure to provide Mance Park Middle School with this required documentation for your child's records.  You may upload the record into the online registration form or have the doctor's office fax it to the school nurse.  If you have problems with the upload, you may send it as an email attachment to OnlineRegistration@huntsville-isd.org.  Please include your parent contact information as well as the name and date of birth for your child so that the information can be placed in the proper student file.  
       
    • Proof of Residency Documentation - Proof of Residency is requested for returning students entering transitional grades 5, 7 and 9. See below for details.

    REQUIREMENT FOR ALL 5th, 7th & 9th GRADERS:


    All HISD Returning Students entering transitional grades, 5, 7 or 9 this school year will be required to present Proof of Residency to complete the Returning HISD Student Registration process. 

    What is Proof of Residency?  That’s documentation that reflects your physical residence such a current utility bill showing service location, deed of trust, property tax statement, or an unexpired lease agreement showing physical address of residence.  If you don't have any of the above due to living with family or friends, the district will consider accepting a notarized Verification of Address Affidavit.  

    Again, please have all required documents with you when you begin the registration process, as you will have the opportunity to upload them before you submit your completed registration form.  If you experience difficulty with the upload process, please contact by email or phone for support.     


Models of Instruction - Learning Options for Families for 2020-2021

  • The details of the 3 Models of Instruction HISD will offer for student learning are included in the Registration process and parents will be asked to select the Model you prefer best for your student start school with. We recommend you review the models carefully before making your selection.
