A little about me: I was born and raised here in Huntsville. My father worked for the city as a mechanic, and later fleet manager. My mother still works for the district as a Math Interventionist. I truly feel blessed to have lived the life I have. After graduating from Huntsville High School in 2003, "Sting 'em Hornets!", I attended the University of Houston to begin my degree in Political Science and Sociology, and finished it at Sam Houston State University. I currently work in the Special Education department as an Inclusion Teacher. I love Math and the possibilities its exploration provides for children.
What is my "Why?". I teach because I always loved school growing up. Huntsville ISD provided me with a wonderful educational experience that allowed me to flourish and nourish my love for learning new things. I love to learn new things about my content area, as well as, from the students and teachers I interact with daily. I truly value my pupils as well as my peers, and am grateful to have the opportunity to work beside them everyday.
