Updates in Special Education

In alignment with Senate Bill 139, Huntsville ISD is required to notify parents of their right to request a special education evaluation at any time if you suspect your child may have a disability.  A hyperlink is included on the attached notice that will direct you to complete a form that will provide us with information regarding any concern you may have.  Once the form is completed, you will be contacted regarding your concerns.  The district stands ready, willing, and able to assist you and any concerns you may have at this time.

En alineación con el Proyecto de Ley 139 del Senado, Huntsville ISD está requerido a notificar a los padres de su derecho a solicitar una evaluación de educación especial en cualquier momento si usted sospecha que su hijo puede tener una discapacidad. Se incluye un hipervínculo en el aviso adjunto que le dirigirá a completar un formulario que nos proporcionará información sobre cualquier inquietud que pueda tener. Una vez que se complete el formulario, le contactaremos con respecto a sus inquietudes. El distrito está listo, dispuesto y capaz de asistirle a usted y a cualquier inquietud que pueda tener en este momento.

STAAR Scores Online Access
Parents & Guardians are able to access STAAR Scores Online.  In order to access your student’s STAAR scores, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has created an online student portal for parents.  Log into the student portal to view your child's STAAR scores and access additional resources.  More information can be found on our State Testing informational page.
