To best meet the needs of our MPMS community during our closure, we have created a special email account for you to use!
We recognize the significant impact an extended closure has on the entire community, especially for families who depend on the district for critical services. While our classrooms are empty, our work on behalf of children continues. During the closure online educational resources are available to families which will provide continuity in our students’ learning
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, on Sunday, March 29, President Trump extended federal social distancing guidelines until the end of April. On Tuesday, March 31, Governor Abbott issued an executive order closing Texas schools until May 4. Huntsville ISD agrees with these steps which are in line with our continual priority to keep our students, staff and community safe; therefore, Huntsville ISD is EXTENDING CLOSURE of our campuses through FRIDAY, MAY 1, with a possible return date of Monday, May 4. The No-Cost Lunch Program will still continue each weekday during the closure.
Hornet Instructional Activities & Resources are NOW Available for HISD students in Pre-K thru 12th grade to use during the COVID-19 school closure in both digital and paper form, if needed. Click here for links and instructions on how to access for your campus.
