Project Sunshine

What is Project Sunshine?

Project Sunshine is a not for profit organization that provides free social, educational and recreational programs to children and families with all types of disabilities. Project Sunshine is based in New York (http://www.projectsunshine.org). Volunteers donate their time to improving the lives of the children and families we serve.

Throughout the semester, we will host numerous activities for the Project Sunshine children, their siblings and parents. Project Sunshine’s staff at Sam Houston State University works toward the goal of bringing smiles and joy to the children of Walker County and its surrounding areas.
