Past Projects include...
September – Red Ribbon Week
During Red Ribbon Week we participated in many activities. Prior to the
actual event, we made drug awareness posters to hang in the hallways and tied
red ribbons to the trees on the school grounds. We sponsored a school-wide
dress up day for each day of the week to help remind students to stay away
from drugs. We also attended the Red Ribbon Rally at Mance Park Middle School
and performed a skit about the importance of staying drug free.
November – Canned Food Drive
We sponsored a school-wide canned food drive. We held a contest between
grade levels to see which grade and which class at each grade level could
bring in the most cans. We had lots of food to donate to the Good Shepherd
Mission.

December – Book Drive
December we sponsored a similar school-wide drive as we did in the previous
month. We collected a lot of books which were donated to the CPS Rainbow Room
and the Hospitality House here in Huntsville.
Future Projects...
January- School Board Appreciation Week
We will travel to the school board and perform a short skit to offer our
thanks for everything they do.
February- TAKS Testing
3rd and 4th grade will be taking the first round of TAKS tests so we will
be doing something to encourage the students and teachers alike.
