BACKGROUND

I have been working in the school setting since my daughter started kindergarten 24 years ago. She and her husband added twins, Evie and Bentley, to our family in the summer of 2008. I also have a 23 year old son who lives in Norman, OK (Go Sooners!!).

I started in the elementary school as a volunteer and later became a middle school library aide. From there I became a teacher. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a B.S. in Elementary Ed.

I taught 6th grade in Oklahoma for 2 years.  I taught 5th grade in Trinity, Texas for the 2007-2008 school year, then I came to Huntsville to teach.  This year, I am happy to be here at Huntsville Intermediate again and look forward to teaching 5th grade
Language Arts.
