Riley Tilley Position: 1 Years of Service: 4 Employment: Texas Department of Criminal Justice - 20 years - Currently a Manager II with the Rehabilitation and Reentry Programs Division Degrees: BBA from Sam Houston State University Professional Achievements: Other Community Organizations: Member of Calvary Baptist Church (Chairman of Committee on Committees); Past President and Fundraising Chairman for HHS Marching Pride Booster Club (member past six years); coached and umpired the past 30 years for Huntsville Baseball Association (past Commissioner and President) Family (spouse, children): Wife: Raye; Children: Steven and Jeff (daughter-in-law: Mary); Grandson: Halen Why you chose to serve on the School Board: I have been a part of this community for the past 36 years. Both our boys received their education at HISD, and I feel this is a way to give something back to the community and school district. I have always been involved in organizations dealing with children (baseball, softball, basketball, football, and band), and I want to continue making children the school board's first priority.

I am a staunch advocate of public education and want to see all the kids here learn, grow, and succeed in a complicated world.
